Please note that pickup time for campers are Sunday's 9-10 a.m. Parents please pick up your child within this timeframe on Sunday. We will be giving a grace period of 30 minutes. After this time however, campers that have not yet been picked up by parents will be automatically placed in a child care program and parents will be charged $20 per hour per camper.

LETTERS & PHONE CALLS

Campers love to get letters, packages, and e-mails from parents and friends. Please send packages or letters the early so they will be sure to arrive while the camper is still at camp. We encourage you to write rather than call; kids love hearing their name during mail call. Campers may receive e-mails from family. We print out your email message and give it to them at mail call. If you wish to email your camper use the following: campyorktownbay@gmail.com

Due to the nature of our program, it is best for all incoming calls to campers be limited to emergencies only. This keeps our phones available for business and emergency use. Our staff will assist campers in making any emergency calls home if necessary.

HEALTH & SAFETY

In planning for the camping season we have endeavored to create as safe an environment and activities as possible while still allowing the campers to experience adventure and to be challenged physically and mentally. Our staff is carefully trained to ensure the safety of our campers. A nurse is available and on-site at the camp 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We have limited accident insurance on each camper, however, your insurance will be primary. In case of emergency, parents are notified as soon as possible. Any medical treatment other than camp accidents are the responsibility of the parents.
