IDEAS ON HOW TO RAISE MONEY

TO HELP YOU GET TO CAMP

It's always nice to be able to help your parents any chance you get. Why not surprise them this year by contributing towards your camp expenses. If you are interested in making sure you make it to camp this year, below are a few fundraising ideas that might help. Give them a try!

Mowing Lawns

ask your parents if they could pay you to mow the lawn at home. But don't stop there. Ask your neighbors if they need their lawn mowed.

Delivering Package

Medical CIT Form

Car Washes

This fundraiser is easier if you have friends also interested in raising money for camp. Together you can spend several Sunday's hosting a car wash.

Bake Sales

It's hard to turn down cookies. Just ask the girl scouts! Bake cookies or banana bread and sell them to church members or your parents' co-workers.

Bike-a-thon

Dust off your old bike and put it to good use. Get a sign-up sheet & see if people are willing to sponsor you 50 cents or even a dollar per every mile your bike.

Counselors In Training (CIT)

This program focuses on giving the camper an experience on what it means to be a counselor at CYB. The camper will be provided training, just like the regular staff. They will also have an opportunity to co-counsel. If you have ever been interested in working at CYB this is the perfect week to sign up for. This opportunity is only afforded during Cub and Junior Camp. This program is for those who are 14-16. The cost is $300.
